Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983 by the Bollati Family, Davines Group started as a research laboratory, producing high-end hair care products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide. After a decade of honing our expertise, we began creating our own brand of Davines hair care products exclusively for salons, and in 1996 founded [ comfort zone ] skin care for premier spas.

Although we continue to grow, with headquarters in Parma, New York City, Paris, London and Mexico City, our roots are firmly planted in our beginnings as a family-owned research laboratory guided by the same desire for quality products with an authentic approach and timeless appeal.

Compensating the full CO2 impact of the production of our Essential Haircare, SU and More Inside lines
Several years ago, with the collaboration of LifeGate, Davines adopted a Zero ImpactR policy (carbon-neutral) for the pack of our Essential Haircare product line, which was later joined by the family of SU sun-care products, OI and by the styling line more inside.
By adhering to LifeGate's Zero ImpactR Project the carbon dioxide emissions generated by the production of the packaging for these lines are offset by the purchasing of carbon credits generated by operations of forests' creation and protection in Italy, Costa Rica and Madagascar, as established by the Kyoto Protocol.
Accordingly, Davines helps developing the vegetation required to restore oxygen that is extracted from the environment.
Davines, was one of the first Italian cosmetique brands to have joined the Zero Impact projects.
JUSTICE AND SOUL founded by Matthew Fairfax & Lauren Ebright
is a Davines hair salon & school (supported by Davines) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where women are trained to work in the salon and earn a livable wage, thereby breaking the trafficking cycle.
